Treatment with wrinkle fillers can help restore volume to areas of your face that need extra volume. Areas of the face that can be treated include nasolabial folds, cheeks, upper and lower lips, the corners of the mouth, and creases around the chin. Topical numbing cream can be applied to help relieve discomfort around the injection process. Results can last as long as three to six months or longer. Dr. Aboutanos personally injects dermal fillers according to your facial anatomy and strives to give you the look you are ready for.
How long will the procedure take?
Injection with fillers, such as Juvederm and Restylane, can take about 15-20 minutes and can be done in the office.
What will recovery be like?
You should be able to return to your daily activities after the procedure. You should avoid physical exercise and working out for at least 24 hours after filler injection. You may have swelling that can last about two days.
What else should I know about Fillers?
Patients with allergies to any component of fillers are not candidates for treatment. Dr. Aboutanos will make sure that dermal fillers are right for you.
